Craig Phillips B.App.Sc (Phty) MPhysio (Sports)

After 10 years as a dancer with the Australian Ballet Company, and graduate of the Australian Ballet School Craig undertook his physiotherapy training in Melbourne graduating in 1987. Having used Pilates during his professional dance career he decided to work with the programme more extensively in the USA in the late 1980s, studying with many of the masters and their contemporaries. Since then he has been the driving force behind the development of the DMA Clinical Pilates programme in Australia.

DMA works closely with the entertainment industry treating all manner of performers, dancers, singers, actors, musicians and the like whilst also consulting to both local and major overseas touring companies through his commitments as a board member of the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science. Craig is also heavily involved in the sports medicine world and consulting with many teams to incorporate pilates concepts into training programmes for elite athletes.

Sara Dore Dip Phys (Otago), Dip MT

Sara is a post graduate trained manipulative physiotherapist with over 20 years private practice experience in New Zealand. She is the Managing Director of Empower Pilates and Physiotherapy and has a large Clinical Pilates studio for exercise and rehabilitation on the Kapiti Coast. Her areas of expertise are in musculoskeletal injuries, neck and back pain, rehabilitation and womens health
 
As well as being the DMA contact in New Zealand, she also helps coordinate the DMA courses and is the lecturer for the DMA matwork/theraband courses in New Zealand.
 
She is very passionate about teaching other NZ physiotherapists the benefits of Clinical Pilates as an exercise and rehabilitation tool.

Louise Huntley  B.App.Sc (Phty), Grad Dip (Sports Phty), MCSP,
Louise Edwards graduated with 1st Class BSc honors in Physiotherapy, in 1996 from Brunel University College in Middlesex. Due to her huge interest in sport she returned to study and completed her Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy at London South Bank University in 2004.

Louise is based in London at The City Sports Clinic, at the London Bridge Hospital and is the Deputy Physiotherapy Manager. In this position she treats acute and chronic injuries of both the elite and recreational athlete and uses the method of Clinical Pilates (mat based and reformer work) to manage clients rehabilitation. 
 
Louise also finds the time to lecture and educate others in the method of Clinical Pilates. Trained by Craig Phillips, she conducts Level 1 DMA Clinical Pilates Matwork/Theraband courses across the UK.
 

Leon Stephens  B.App.Sc. (Hons)
Leon graduated from Brighton University in the UK in 1996. Initially working in burns and neurology, he has since developed extensive top level sports physiotherapy experience, having worked with some of the UK’s top international sportsmen whilst based in London.

Since mid 2001 Leon has been a partner in his own sports injury clinic in East Anglia, as well as working at the UK’s leading performing arts college – Performers College in Essex, where he also has a Pilates studio.

Working with Clinical Pilates since 2000, Leon now teaches Clinical Pilates matwork courses in the UK and Ireland.
