dma welcomes 2 new physiotherapists

Craig Phillips is pleased to introduce Ilana Raitman B.App.Sc (Phty) and Anthony Selby B.App.Sc. (Phty) to our practice.  Ilana Raitman  studied Physiotherapy at La Trobe University, graduating in 1992. Since then she has worked in acute hospital care, general rehabilitation and in private practice. Ilana’s extensive experience covers musculoskeletal injuries, post-orthopedic surgery rehabilitation, chronic back pain, postural education and ergonomics, working with Clinical Pilates since 1996. More recently Ilana has trained in real time ultrasound as a diagnostic and treatment tool.  Anthony Selby has worked in the United Kingdom since graduating in 2002, gaining vast experience as a sole practitioner in a health clinic, in private practice & in corporate health teams, and as a locum to public Health outpatients. Caseloads have consisted predominantly of musculoskeletal disorders including sports injuries, spinal dysfunction, post –orthopaedic surgery, occupational disorders & postural dysfunction. Anthony implements Clinical Pilates into his rehabilitation programmes along with manual techniques, particularly Maitland, McKenzie & Mulligan.

Craig Phillips, Henry Wajswelner & Jon Snowsill are three, highly skilled physiotherapists with years of experience across specialist areas & all are highly qualified with an excellent knowledge base in their respective areas.

NEWS FLASH…Paulette Mifsud has joined us @ dma: B.A (psych) G.D.A.C.P, M.App.Sci,MAPS,for the past 20 years she has worked as a sport & performance psychologist with individuals in private consultation and in group workshops with clients ranging from club/school level through to international sport level.

Paulette has provider numbers for many of the private health insurance agencies and now with Medicare. If you have a doctor’s referral for psychological services, you can now claim it back directly from Medicare general. Paulette is @ dmaon Thursdays and is able to see clients at other selected times. Call reception for further details.
